You have put your finger on the single great truth that my fellow liberals still fail to grasp. Theocrat fascists are bad faith people because they define truth and reality as "whatever benefits me at this moment" so if that means cherry-picking quotes from people who would despise them, that's fine. If it means saying they'll care for babies when they only want to punish uppity and sluttish women, that's fine. They believe so thoroughly in their own righteousness that there is no way to oppose them with rational argument.

But it is possible to make them squirm.
